Residents at multimillion-dollar apartments in Auckland's Viaduct Harbour are fed up with their new view - a giant motor yacht belonging to New Zealand's richest man.
Businessman Graeme Hart brought the 58m MY Ulysses into Auckland a year ago after it was built overseas for him at a cost of $61 million.
Its home berth became the marina on the harbour side of the North at Lighter Quay apartments, where prices range from $1 million to $4 million.
But for six of the building's 39 apartments, it is like having a three-storey building blocking their balconies.
A spokesman for developer Nigel McKenna's company, Melville Developments, said the building's body corporate had an issue with a large super yacht berthing close to their apartments.
"But the body corporate says it is hoping to work with the marina society to achieve some sort of solution - to negotiate the vessel's relocation."
