About 50 graduates from throughout New Zealand will receive their national certificates. For more information call BITO on (09) 360 0056.
MIRABELLA LAUNCH
The world's biggest single-masted sailing boat, the giant Ron Holland-designed Mirabella V, will be launched on November 26. VT Shipbuilding (formerly Vosper Thornycroft) project manager Andrew Bunney said the completion of the 75m sloop had elevated the company to a premier position among the world's superyacht builders. He also praised the input of New Zealand composite specialist High Modulus in the two-year project. The yacht will be launched at Woolston, in England, then moved to Portsmouth so the 90m mast can be stepped.
