After producing 102 issues of the marine industry news sheet Seabiz, Kerry Dunning has signed off.
She has had three years as executive officer of the Marine Trades Association, helping guide the organisation through a period of considerable change.
Dunning came to the association after a range of challenging marine roles with Fullers, Subritzky and Babcock.
She is off to market an imported line of pet food nationally.

F18 troops about to hit their straps
It's all action for the team of F18 enthusiasts introducing the new class here. After a couple of introductory sessions at Royal Akarana Yacht Club, the new home of the swift catamarans, they had their first race on RAYC Opening Day last Sunday and took some prospects for trial sails in the afternoon.

Yachting body elects first woman to board
Mandy Scott-Mackie, from the Tauranga Yacht and Boating Club, is one of three new members elected to the board of Yachting New Zealand. She is the first woman to make it on to the sport's controlling body in its 50-year history.
The two other new members are Aucklander Richard Gladwell (Wakatere Boating Club) and Bob Waugh (New Plymouth Yacht Club). The new trio join chairman Arthur Stewart, president Geoff Thorpe and existing board members Denis Mowbray, Dave Murray and Jim Murdoch.

The main accent is on family sailing in Auckland this holiday weekend, with the North Island P-class and Starling championships being sailed at Tauranga. Activity includes:
Saturday: Cruising Race (Ponsonby CC); Old Fox to West Bay, Rakino (NE) or (SE) to Waikalabubu, Motutapu (Westhaven YC).
Saturday to Monday: Cruising Weekend (Bucklands Beach YC); Family cruising weekend for trailer yachts (Waikato Trailer Yacht Squadron).
