KEY POINTS:
The Herald is asking high-profile people about their environmental friendliness.
This week: Paul Henry, co-host of TV One's Breakfast.
What are you doing personally to make a difference?
The big thing I'm doing is planting trees. I've got 4ha of bush that I'm fostering and I'm allowing areas of my section to regenerate after being cleared.
What more could you do?
Lots, but I don't have the time or the inclination.
I use far too much electricity and too much fossil fuel.
What is your biggest environmental sin?
My cars. I love big cars. I'm always driving a V8 for no other reason than I like to drive a V8.
Global warming - true or false?
Obviously I can see climate change. There can be no question we are experiencing climate change. The question I have is how much is a result of what mankind is doing or has done? In my mind that is unclear.
But only a fool would say we're not experiencing climate change.
