Fancy parking a classic Italian sportscar in your driveway? Well best you start saving, because two of the vehicles coming up for sale are set to sell for way above the reserve prices of US$2 million ($2.5 million).
Gooding & Company, the official auction house of California's Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, is hosting the 10th anniversary sale of the Pebble Beach auctions on August 17 and 18.
Auction highlights include a 1948 Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 Competizione, from the famed Sleeping Beauties collection, and a 1965 Ferrari 275 GTB Long Nose Alloy in dazzling Fly Yellow.
The Alfa is expected to sell for between US$2.8 million and $3 million and the Ferrari for between US$2.25 million and $2.5 million.
"In celebration of Gooding & Company's 10th anniversary as the official auction house of the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, we are pleased to present a stellar line-up of Italian marques," says David Gooding, the company's founder.
