A man roused the anger of a judge when he answered his mobile phone while he was in the dock. Gasps of shock went around courtroom number two at Blackpool Magistrates' Court when Paul Fitton calmly answered his mobile with the words: "Hello there, I'm in court", and started a conversation. Fitton, 26, was in the dock facing a charge of being drunk and disorderly.

As if to illustrate how easy it is to make grammatical errors, a number of readers pointed out that Jodie of Grafton, who was frustrated by Noel Leeming's apostrophe placement, made her very own slip.
