Jarrod was in an Animates pet store last Saturday, getting the usual supplies for his animals, when suddenly he realised he was being watched ... by John Campbell. "In front of the counter was the attached picture. Special-edition 'Election 08' chew toys for dogs. I don't need to explain who is who in the photo - they really are that good. Camilla writes: "Bless you, gorgeous tiny creature with the rhinestone headband working in Kookai at the Sylvia Park shopping centre. You were ever so diplomatic as you told my friend and me, pushing our prams, that our 30-something post-baby bodies were not welcome in your store. Not for us the pleasures of lace and frills and sparkles - your sizes only extend to a 2. Maybe there should be a warning on the door?"

A Swedish woman was stopped from boarding a budget jet - because her name was too long. The name, Ulrika Örtegren-Kärjenmäki would not fit on Ryanair's boarding pass. And dots over some letters invalidated it in security checks at Stansted Airport near London. Furious Ulrika, who was with her daughter, had to pay extra for a flight the next day. The same problem happened, but staff managed to create an alternative boarding pass. (Source: Sun)
