KEY POINTS:
Release the anger: A San Diego woman has opened a shop where when you get really mad you can go and break some crockery. You can try various packages, depending on the degree of the rage: the Smash Shack House Special (15 plates, 15 minutes, $45), Lover's Lane (three glass flowers for $10). Customers are wrapped in coveralls, gloves and a helmet, then led into a "Break Room".

Our airport security is two cans of reduced cream short of a dip, according to this traveller. "Imagine how upset I was when departing Auckland International Airport for the States last Saturday when my Nestle Reduced Cream was taken from me! I offered Mr Security Man the two packets of Maggi Onion Soup to go with the reduced cream so they could have a wee party in the staff room when their shift was over but he declined, telling me the reduced cream would go straight in the bin ... a crime in itself."

Bill Frost from Magnum Security replies to Colin Clark who complains about a security guard at Elm Park School who asked him and the children he was with to leave the school playground:
"According to the security guard's report, what began as a simple request to exit the fenced area became confrontational. Did Colin expect us to leave the gate open and leave the school unsecured? Or lock them in, throw the kids over the fence? Or ignore the school rules and lose the contract? Colin, I thank you for testing my crew, who make me proud."
Furthermore, Trish Plowright, Elm Park principal, says the school is fenced because of vandalism. "We are forced to lock out the public unless we are on site. However, on Sunday when this incident occurred our gate was left open by the church group that use our facilities ...
The Ministry of Education pay for schools to be monitored. We would love to have the community use our grounds but some members of our society are not so responsible and this spoils it for the majority."
