Police in West Yorkshire have had some ridiculous emergency services calls this year. Holy knockoff, Batman
A British defence contractor has unveiled a concept for an unmanned armoured vehicle called The Raider. "I like that," a journalist noted. "Looks like the Batmobile." "Glad you said that," project leader Hisham Awad replied with a grin. "That's what we based it on." Pardon? "Yes, we liked the look of that, so we designed something similar. Plenty to argue over at Christmas
No doubt most of you have had, or witnessed, a holiday dust-up already but was it caused by what a British survey says causes the most arguments over the holiday period? In order, they are:
1. Board games.
2. Disliked gifts.
3. TV programmes.
4. Driving responsibilities.
5. Cooking responsibilities.
6. Tension with in-laws.
7. Sharing parental responsibilities.
8. Too much alcohol consumption.
9. Lack of time spent with family.
10. Working over the break.
