Emma would like to know what the Auckland City Council is doing about the large number of homeless people in Victoria Park who are constantly disturbing the peace with loud, violent, drunk and scary behaviour in the middle of the day. "If four grown men have to leave the park because of getting abused for being white ***** who wear ties, then how am I, a 22-year-old woman, supposed to feel about eating my lunch in the park? Not safe at all. It is disgusting. I know that everyone has the right to use public space but there has to be a limit somewhere. Who is responsible, the council or the police?"

Hasn't the lady who lost her Toyota keys seen their TV ad where a distraught Toyota owner is assisted by a horde of volunteers and emergency services in the search for his lost beeper key, asks Clarke Gregory. At $4500, I can see why. Kudos to Toyota for such truthfulness in advertising. LOL.

Jonathan can't believe the price of the Toyota transponder. "I went to the Toyota website and calculated that $4500 is 16.4 per cent of the cost of the lowest-priced Corolla (a new 1.5L GX) and is 11.3 per cent of the cost of the highest-priced one, a 2.0L diesel. So in these difficult economic times, if you can afford a new car, ask for one with a plain old key and save a big chunk of change."

Advice for the woman who lost the keys to her 2008 Toyota Corolla. She could try phoning her insurance company. Some companies will not only replace her keys, but also all the locks for the lost keys for security.

A reader writes: "Having read about the Kidney Kids fundraising idea Kan Kids, I can't help but wonder if the Lions have ever tried to give their tins directly to the source. I work at a bar/cafe and we go through a fair few screw caps and tabs every day. I'm sure there are a few local establishments out there that would be willing to give to the cause."
