Bob spotted this while on holiday in Port Douglas, Australia. "They're doing it over there too - and the driver was not even handicapped. There were plenty of car park spaces available, but this driver just had to park as close to the entrance as she could."
Save this marriage
At the iSky launch last Wednesday, Ben lost a $7000 video camera in a red Kathmandu bag. The camera contained some really important footage and a hard drive full of his wedding photos. "I'm begging anyone who may have seen it or picked it up to help me find it. Even if they just return the hard drive and tapes. I'm desperate and obviously not popular with my new wife." Or better yet ...
Sam points out, "Ironically, the automated Orcon customer service message says 'We don't like being kept on hold either'. It then suggests using a speakerphone so you can do something else. Brilliant. Why not help the unemployed figures and recruit a few more customer service people to deal with the increase of customers and increase of customer complaints?"
Apostrophe atrocity
Linda attended the lovely Santa parade through Mt Maunganui on Sunday. There was a great float from Otamarakau School (a country school on the way to Whakatane) with kids everywhere. The adults were wearing sandwich boards boasting that they were "Leader's in Digital Education". Apparently not leaders in teaching the proper use of the apostrophe. And even more scary, no one noticed.
