KEY POINTS:
It's over and boy was it hot.
My highlight of Coachella was Rodrigo Y Gabriela, a duelling guitar duo from just across the border in Mexico. Their album from last year was a favourite of mine and it's obviously big with the hot and sweaty masses in the Gobi tent.
There's chants of "Mexico, Mexico" as the pair play off against each other - mostly Gabriela has a percussive strum and Rodrigo a stealth pluck. This is acoustic Latin death metal people and it's the newest dance craze. You can even clap along.
By the way, Rage Against the Machine were good, but you can tell they don't like each other much. Well, that the others don't like singer Zach De La Rocha. Heavy, catchy, but frosty.
Farewell Coachella, you are the best.
Next up Liam Finn, who has just recorded a new album, in Los Angeles and then, Christina Aguilera in Atlanta. I'll let you know if she's any good and dirrrty.
