The Indian cricket board has made a number of controversial calls during its national team's tour of New Zealand.
Four New Zealand provinces have had the benefit of Indian cricket wisdom in the national championship, but Auckland and Northern Districts missed out because those two provinces have players with links to the privately run Indian Cricket League, an organisation the Indian board view as possessing cricket's equivalent of rabies.
The board turned their sights to Sky TV next when ICL-aligned NZ cricketer Craig McMillan was scheduled to join its commentary team for a match in the ODI series. And most recently, India's cricket broadcaster demanded a change of start time for the first test to better suit TV audiences on the subcontinent.
