Iroquois chopper makes emergency landing

An Iroquois helicopter has made an emergency landing at Paraparaumu Airport after smoke was reported in the cockpit.

On landing it was discovered that there was something wrong with a motor that was being transported, Fire Service spokesman Murray Dunbar told NZPA.

No further details were available except that the helicopter had landed safely and no one was hurt, he said.
