The Inland Revenue is continuing to work with the Ministry of Education to mop up the damage caused by Novopay.
The IRD is trying to minimise any delays in processing teachers' payments and entitlements.
It is also updating its records as quickly as possible.
It says it is important it receives the correct information from employers every month, as this affects people's income tax, Working for Families tax credits, child support, student loans and KiwiSaver.
It notes the effects Novopay has had are varied, yet it urges schools to do what they can to get pay details correct in the first instance.
