KEY POINTS:
Wide-ranging suppression orders have been made in the case of an Iraqi man facing immigration charges in the Auckland District Court.
Salam Mansoor Abdelabbus Al-Bawi, 27, faces 11 charges, including allegations that he repeatedly used a false New Zealand passport, used the false name of John Joseph to obtain a passport, and was in possession of a Danish passport he knew to be false.
Al-Bawi, who has been committed to stand trial, is represented by immigration lawyer David Ryken and is defending the charges.
