Susan Satyanand (right), wife of Governor-General Anand Satyanand, lends a hand at Government House in Auckland yesterday selling raffle tickets during a charity house tour to raise money for the Starship. The money will go towards a new 4D ultrasound scanner, worth $375,000, which creates images to test and diagnose the health of unborn children.
The annual house tour was the sixth staged by Friends of Starship, but the first time Government House had been included. The charity sold 800 tickets before the event and at least 200 more during the day.
