An investigation is set to begin today after a suspicious house fire in the Waikato overnight.
The vacant house on Renown Rd at Waikokowai-near Huntly- was "well ablaze" when Fire and Emergency crew arrived at 1am on Saturday, Fire and Emergency shift manager Murray Bannister said.
The fire has been deemed suspicious and police and fire investigators will return to the home this morning to find the cause.
