KEY POINTS:
Police are continuing to investigate a gang fight that left four Paremoremo inmates with stab wounds.
Detective Sergeant Scott Armstrong said police were still pouring over security camera footage from Auckland's maximum security prison to decide whether charges would be laid.
"As you can imagine it is not a straight forward thing just to establish whether we have sufficient evidence to charge anyone and once that's been reviewed then we'll finalise the investigation and make a decision on whether anyone will be charged and with what," Mr Armstrong said.
The riot broke out last Wednesday. Sources told the Herald last week that it was sparked by a dispute between members of the Killer Beez and the Mongrel Mob.
A number of weapons, believed to be homemade knives, were found in prison cells following a lockdown period.
