Police and safety investigators are looking into a fatal farm accident in Southland.
Emergency services were called to a Clements Rd farm at Kaiwera about 5.15pm yesterday after a 32-year-old woman was found by a family member.
The woman was lying in a winter feed paddock and had been feeding balage to cattle.
Nobody else was present when the accident happened.
Police and Worksafe investigators are completing a scene examination today. A police statement says they "will be looking at all factors at the scene and speaking with other family members to establish the cause of the accident".
