Police are continuing their investigation into a Ngaruawahia car crash that killed an 11-year-old boy.
Six other young people were injured in the single-vehicle crash on Durham St on Friday, November 18. Nikau Tamati died on hospital.
Police previously said it was not clear who was driving but nobody in the white Toyota Wish was old enough to obtain a driver's licence.
Detective Sergeant Mata John of the Western Waikato criminal investigation branch today said the small town had been greatly affected by the tragedy.
Police were grateful for the cooperation of all those who were assisting with the investigation.
