Fire investigators are working to establish what caused a large house fire in Nelson this morning.
Emergency services were called to the fire in Stoke about 7.45am.
A Fire Service spokesman said the house was burning fiercely when firefighters got there. Crews from Stoke, Richmond and Nelson attended.
No-one was injured in the blaze and it had since been extinguished.
Fire safety officers were at the scene investigating the cause.
