A woman was attacked in her Invercargill home at knifepoint, police said.
The attack occurred on Tuesday at about 2am, when the woman was attacked at her Isabella St home when returning from work.
She was confronted in the doorway by two men and pushed to the ground, police said.
The woman was assaulted and a knife was held to her neck.
The offenders, who were solidly built, about 1.83m (6ft) tall and wore dark clothing, also stole property from the house.
