A 27-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder and aggravated robbery after a man was allegedly attacked in Invercargill.
The victim, a 23-year-old male, has been released from hospital and is recovering in the care of his family after he was allegedly attacked on the corner of Ythan and Janet Sts on February 16.
The alleged offender is due to appear in Invercargill District Court today.
A 16-year-old male will face a charge of attempted murder when he next appears in the Invercargill Youth Court.
Police believed others were involved and would like to hear from anyone who might have information about the attack.
