One of two men accused of arson attacks will find out today if his parents can save him from temporary incarceration.
In the Invercargill District Court, Bevan Jade Kerr, 17, and Quintin Allan Pearsey, 25, were charged with lighting four fires in Invercargill, causing at least $200,000 of damage, overnight on Monday.
Pearsey was remanded in custody without plea until December 2.
Police opposed bail for Kerr but Judge Peter Butler requested affidavits from Kerr's parents, before deciding the issue.
