Police believe there is a connection between two cases on Sunday in which young Kapiti women woke to find an intruder in their homes.
At 5.45am, a man fled when a 17-year-old Raumati woman found him standing in her bedroom.
Just over an hour later, a 20-year-old Paraparaumu woman saw
a man outside her bedroom. The intruder again left.
Senior Sergeant Alasdair MacMillan, of Paraparaumu, said he believed the incidents were linked.
