Interview with a 'rebel' on Maori TV

Maori Television is to screen an interview with a Uighur nationalist whom Beijing has labelled a terrorist.

The Chinese Embassy asked this week for a documentary about Muslim Uighur people in Xinjiang and their leader Rebiya Kadeer to be cancelled.

However, the interview will screen on Native Affairs on Monday at 8pm.
