The Interislander ferry has scheduled an extra sailing on Labour Day due to heavy passenger demand, the company says.
The Arahura will provide the extra service, leaving Wellington at 10.30am and departing Picton on the return sailing at 2.30pm.
"We've seen heavy demand for sailings on Labour Day, as people come home from a long weekend away, so we've scheduled an extra sailing to ensure we can cater for everyone who's looking to travel," said Interislander general manager Thomas Davis.
