A Sydney woman accused of helping her estranged husband fake his own death as part of a life insurance scam appeared in a Sydney court yesterday.
Sheila Gordon, 55, has been charged with two counts of obtaining money by deception.
Her 30-year-old daughter Josaphine has also been charged with conspiring to claim her father's A$3.5 million life insurance policy from AMP Insurance.
Harry Gordon was arrested at Sydney airport in November on arrival from New Zealand, where he was living with a new wife under the assumed name of Robert Motzel.
