Inquiry after train jumps track

Toll Holdings and Ontrack are investigating after a passenger train jumped its tracks and derailed in Wellington on Saturday.

The train from Johnsonville had 28 people and two crew on board when it jumped the tracks about 11am.

There were no injuries and the train remained upright.

Train services were delayed for about an hour.
