A formal inquest into the deaths of Senior Constable Len Snee and his killer, Jan Molenaar, in last year's Napier siege will be held in the week beginning March 29.
Mr Snee was killed and two officers badly injured when they were shot by Molenaar during a search for cannabis at his home on May 7.
Molenaar was found dead in the house on May 9.
The inquest is expected to take four days.
