An inquest into the death of murdered Hawkes Bay farmer Jack Nicholas has been adjourned until at least 2008.
A Coroner's Court hearing in Napier has heard a detective estimate court proceedings relating to the shooting of Mr Nicholas will not be completed until 2008.
He said depositions in the case of Murray Kenneth Foreman, 50, charged with murdering the 72-year-old farmer on August 27, 2004, had been delayed until at least February.
