Publisher and former British Lions rugby star Sir Anthony O'Reilly has been honoured with the Media Person of the Year Award in Cannes.
The award to the chief executive of Independent News and Media - the largest shareholder in APN which publishes the Herald - was presented this week at the 55th Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival.
