Wairarapa United know what they have to do to claim the 2011 central league football title.
Beating Maycenvale United in the last of their home games at Howard Booth Park, Carterton, on Sunday needs to be followed by away wins against Olympic, Petone and leaders Miramar Rangers.
It's a huge ask by any standards and made more difficult by the fact a Chatham Cup semi-final, and possibly a grand final too, have to be slotted in as well.
First things first, however, and while Wairarapa United will start firm favourites to dispose of Maycenvale United, it would be dangerous to take victory for granted.
The Palmerston North-based side is fighting to stave off the threat of relegation and have enough talented individuals in their squad not to be taken lightly, prolific-scoring Leon Birnie foremost among them.
Unsurprisingly Wairarapa United coach Phil Keinzley is looking for his side to show the same discipline they did in their 4-1 drubbing of Waitakere City in their Chatham Cup quarter-final match last Sunday.
Then they completely dominated their more favoured opposition by sticking rigidly to a game plan based around protecting possession and keeping basic mistakes to a minimum.
Keinzley sees similar tactics being necessary against a Maycenvale United side likely to adopt an attacking approach.
"I'm picking they will play an aerial type of game to try to open up our defence and we'll need to ensure our positional play is up to scratch," Keinzley said.
The Wairarapa United coach wasn't expecting to finalise his line-up until the eleventh hour with defender Pablo Moya and striker Seule Soromon needing to pass fitness tests.
Moya rolled an ankle in training earlier in the week while Soromon limped from the field late in the game against Waitakere City and may have strained a hamstring.
For most teams having a couple of injury hassles wouldn't be a hassle because of having a decent number of reserves but Wairarapa United have just 12 in their squad, meaning that if Moya and Soromon can't play they will have to promote a player from their seconds team into their starting XI.
Keinzley is hopeful, however, that his team's playing resources will have been enhanced by the time of the Chatham Cup semi-final against Bay Olympic in Auckland on the weekend of August 13 and 14 with the return to the Wairarapa of hard-nosed midfielder Miroslav Tvaroh.
Also back on duty by then could be the versatile Adam Milne, who is presently fulfilling cricket commitments.
And on the subject of the Cup semi, Keinaley was also delighted to report yesterday that the Wairarapa Sports Education Trust had indicated they would give them financial assistance for the trip north.
