A woman has moderate injuries after being hit by a vehicle on Fanshawe St on the edge of Auckland's CBD.
Police were called to the accident at 4.40pm with reports a car had hit a pedestrian.
A 28-year-old woman was taken to Auckland Hospital with moderate injuries, a St John Ambulance spokesman said.
A witness said the accident happened near the BP petrol station on Fanshawe St, close to Victoria Park.
A white utility vehicle, which appeared to have been involved in the accident, had its rear left window smashed.
