A tramper had to be flown out of the Abel Tasman National Park overnight after injuring her leg in a fall.
The Nelson Marlborough Rescue Helicopter was called to the scene about 1am, a helicopter spokesperson said.
The 35-year-old visitor to the area was assessed and treated at the scene by the onboard Intensive Care Paramedic, before being flown to Nelson Hospital for further treatment.
