Injured teen cut free from wreckage after collision

Save A teenager was trapped in the mangled wreck of a car for more than an hour tonight after a head-on crash near Putaruru, south-east of Cambridge.
Emergency services were called to State Highway 28 at Tapapa just before 7pm after two cars collided.
A St John Ambulance spokesman said
a man and woman in their 40s were taken to Waikato Hospital with moderate injuries.
A teenager in the second car was cut free by firefighters and had serious injuries.
A rescue helicopter was dispatched but could not get to the scene due to bad weather.
