Injured soldier back in NZ

A New Zealand soldier injured in Afghanistan when he was crushed by a collapsing wall is now recuperating at home.

The Special Operations Forces soldier suffered a broken jaw and a broken leg.

He is expected to make a full recovery.

The soldier was initially transported to a medical treatment centre in Germany before returning to New Zealand on a commercial flight.
