A man was flown to hospital after being seriously injured in a water skiing accident at Taupo today.
The 31-year-old man suffered suspected fractures when he fell from his skis while being towed by a boat at high-speed.
He was retrieved from the water and stabilised by St John paramedics.
The Rotorua Bay Trust Helicopter arrived at the scene about 3pm and transported the man to Rotorua Hospital.
