A logger has been airlifted to hospital after receiving moderate head and chest injuries in a forestry accident near Palmerston North yesterday.
A spokesman for The Square Trust rescue helicopter said the 34-year-old Wanganui man was struck by a logging grab machine on Forest Hill, east of Palmerston North.
