Infrastructure Minister Bill English has named members of the board to help create a 20-year National Infrastructure Plan.
The plan, to be completed by the end of the year, will state New Zealand's long-term infrastructure priorities, and the board will also advise the National Infrastructure Unit.
Civil engineering consultant Sir Ron Carter, Fulton Hogan civil engineer Lindsay Crossen, Reserve Bank director Arthur Grimes, engineer Terence Heiler, Ernst & Young managing partner Rob McLeod, Stevenson Group chairman and managing director John Rae and Castalia executive director Alex Sundakov will make up the board under the chairmanship of Canterbury University Vice-Chancellor Rod Carr.
