An interactive map using the New Zealand Transport Agency(NZTA) data shows where and why crashes happen.

On mobile, readers can see the map by clicking here. The map is best viewed on desktop.

The map is made by Richard Law and Andrew Parnell shows all the crashes from New Zealand Transport Agency's Crash Analysis System.

Readers can filter by consequence, factor and party.

The interactive also allows readers to see crashes specifically for official holiday period.
