The World's Fastest Indian will surpass Once Were Warriors this weekend, making the film the No 1 New Zealand film of all time, and achieving a spot in the top 10 films released here.
The Anthony Hopkins film was at $6,649,049 yesterday and this weekend will pass Once Were Warriors' figure of $6,673,129.
Becker Entertainment's NZ distributor, John Hart, said people of all ages and tastes had flocked to see the film.
