Incident in Coatesville raises alarm

Emergency services have been called to an incident in Coatesville, north of Auckland, this morning.

They attended a Sunnyside Rd property at 9.30am and the Westpac Rescue Helicopter was seen flying away.

Four marked police cars remain at the scene alongside one used by detectives. There are also two ambulances there and a rapid-response medical vehicle. A fire truck also attended.

There is no cordon in place and a police spokesman refused to comment on the incident.

"It's not something that we're reporting on and that's it, thank you," he said.
