In the Bite kitchen adventure food is something you can pack to eat when you are out hiking, biking, camping out or journeying away from home for a little while.
Geoff Scott is taking this food to new heights this week. You could have scroggin or you could have thesenutty honey banana bars. You could make sandwiches but I bet everyone would rather have mini pies and fresh spring rolls. A packet of biscuits or a fresh ginger loaf? I know whose camp I want to be in. Geoff has designed these recipes around kids too - they will enjoy helping to make them as much as eating them.

Adventurous food is something altogether different. It does not require outdoor pursuit, just a willingness to try something different, such as Aaron Brunet's chilli, lime tempeh salad or the exploration of ingredients you may not have used before such as tamarind. Nut butters could be considered adventurous, but I call them darn right handy.
