A man robbed a dairy in Taranaki armed with an imitation firearm yesterday.
The robber, who had a black cloth concealing the lower half of his face, entered the High Street Dairy in Waitara about 6.30pm.
He took money from the till, filled his backpack with tobacco products and flashed the imitation pistol or handgun at one of the two workers.
The robber is described as tall and solidly built. He was wearing a hoodie with large yellow, white, and green banded stripes, black jeans or trousers, white basketball-type sneakers, and a dark grey/charcoal backpack with a rounded top.
