Illicit drug users studied

Health researchers are embarking on an annual national study of illicit drug trends in the hope of preventing drug epidemics from getting out of control.

Massey University researchers aim to interview 300 regular users of methamphetamine, Ecstasy or intravenous drugs in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch.

The anonymous participants will be given a $20 food or CD voucher.
