It was great to see the many and varied successful Kiwis being honoured this week - firstly in the 2010 World Class New Zealand awards, otherwise known as the Tall Poppy awards, and then later in the week, the Veuve Clicquot Business Woman of the Year.

Congratulations all the finalists and to the winners - Tall Poppy Richard Faull and Veuve Clicquot winner Cathy Quinn.

I'd rather hear about the success stories of these inspirational Kiwis than read about some of the losers who are usually in the paper.
