A delegation from George Speight's rebels arrives at the Fijian Army Barracks in Suva. Fiji's rebel leaders and the military reopened talks to resolve the 50-day-old hostage crisis. However the military exclusion zone around the Parliament complex would be enforced from midnight. Under the ban, all those within the exclusion area would be viewed as hostile and arrested.
