Helen Clark has increased her support as preferred Prime Minister in the latest Herald DigiPoll of voters by over one point to 53.3 per cent.
Bill English dipped to 11.7, down from the 13.5 per cent he registered after taking part in the Fight for Life boxing match.
Winston Peters was next on the voters' list at 4.6 per cent and former National leader Jenny Shipley registered 1.5 per cent, closely followed by Jim Anderton on 1.4 and Act leader Richard Prebble on 1.2.
